COLOR CODING

Color coding is the ideal way to make your files as efficient and secure as possible. The typical human eye can distinguish over 10,000 different colors. We use color everyday to identify, classify and determine the state of objects around us. In addition to natural colors, we routinely use color codes:

• Green for go.
• Red for stop.
• Yellow for caution.
• Electric ground wires are green.
• Debits are printed in red.

Colors can be identified faster than characters can be read. Bands of color lead your eye to the immediate search area saving up to 40% of the search time required with ordinary files.

When files are arranged in any sequence, blocks of color are created that are easy to scan. Out of place (lost) files are immediately obvious. Expensive and hard to find misfiles are practically eliminated.

Individual alphabetic, numeric, year, month, and other labels are applied to the folder tab. You don’t have to convert all of your files at once.
