Filing Equipment
Filing has evolved over time. Sahler specifies supplies, and installs top quality filing equipment in every one of the following styles.
The traditional "vertical" file cabinet.
It has been available for a century and uses the most floor space for a given amount of filing.
The "lateral" file cabinet.
A more recent variation on the traditional cabinet, it improves space utilization.
The shelf file cabinet.
Developed in the 1960's, these cabinets take half the space of the equivalent 4 drawer vertical cabinet. They also cost less because they don't have drawers. Receding flipper doors, sliding doors and tambour doors are available to provide a closed, locking cabinet.
Tambour Doors
Tambour doors can be added to any existing shelf filing cabinet or 4-post shelving section. These securely locking doors give your records protection from unauthorized access for far less than the cost of new locking equipment. The door itself attaches to the top of the shelving section along with track and a base which attach to the front of the shelving.
The rotary file cabinet.

A relatively recent arrival, it is as space efficient as the shelf file cabinet. The rotary is highly configurable, providing a variety of different storage in one cabinet.
Mobile filing systems.

Also called moving aisle or mobile storage, these systems provide the highest density storage available.
